New AZDG Header [Archive]

I'm thinking about changing the header...it has been up there for quite some time.

Any ideas...post them up. I will post mine as well.

How difficult would it be to have it change on page loads like the one on ls1gto? Then you could put a variety that will just change and be done with it.

I like the idea of having our members cars alternate.

You would have to include the AZDG Porn Stance too...lol. Put it in the background of the above logo instead of the diamond plate...haha.

That would look awful, lol.

I actually like the logo.

I do think that the diamond plate needs to go (from top to bottom) dark-light-dark instead of light-dark-light. It would make it easier to read AZDG and would look just as cool.

Yeah...just testing and getting to know some photoshop stuff, so I am really just experimenting for now.

I do like the idea of various images of members cars like ls1 does. I will work on that next...but in the mean time...here is a better image...

the back ground is dead on. the special effects are perfect. The AZDG seems overwhelming for the frame. The special effects for the AZDG is awesome. Have you tried the same exact thing but with the current "arizona desert goats" logo?? The older logo style might work better because it will allow more of the background to pop.

I have not yet tried the old logo, but will do that soon. Part of the problem is I never had the original vector file so I had to redo it as a vector file, and now I am just not satisfied.

I do not have a font for the logo. It was hand drawn. The only person who may have the font is the person who developed it originally. I do not know who that was.

I have not used andy fonts. I used the images from the original logo, conveted the outline of the lettering there to a vector image and then transfered whatever letters I needed to make the "AZDG", then flattened images, filled them, added styles, changed some of the color patterns, and that was about it.

No fonts.

What about keeping what you have in the background (car/grand canyon) remove all text/logo/flag and then photoshop the old logo (like your sig) on top...

Arlie it will take some time. That is a pain in the ass thing to have to do and have it turn out nicely. I lost all the work I put into making the older headers when I reformatted. I knew I should have saved that stuff.

Here are some twists, one with a different font. I know there is a font out there that will match with what we currently have, it is just a matter of finding it. There are thousands of fonts out there to look through.

I like the Arizona theme, but I think it should be more aggressive; I dunno. None of the other pictures we've done have been "aggressive", so I don't really know what I specifically mean by that, but it kind of looks tourist-y.

If we went with it, I wouldn't complain, though. They all look great so far.

I kinda feel the same way...but I am working on what I can, with what time I have. I do have a priority list I follow, I just have not posted it up cause it's not complete.

Thinking about setting up a rotating banner with these images I am creating.

I think the latest banner is the best but without the GTO crest, flag or the text covering the picture of the car.

And I dont like the see through effect but the backgrownd image of the grand canyon is kewl.

Having each of our cars rotating in the pic will be awesome!

So you don't like it or you're really stoned and can't complete a thought.

PS. Nothing about the background is see through.

With the logo on the back of the shirt and a bunch of our cars in a ghost town setting that would be a cool logo. Sounds like time for a road trip in the spring to a ghost town for some pictures.
