I am currently taking applications for a webmaster/administrator for the AZDG. This is a non-paid position...obviously. Duties will include...addressing website issues, forum maintenance, software upgrades, database backups, forum backup, supporting sponsors, and other forum/web related tasks.

The person needs to be professional, have some web design experience, familiar with PHP, MySql, FTP, HTML, and other web design tools. Also, must be innovative, creative, and able to use good judgements and make calculated decisions.

I am currently planning to go back to school for my Bachelors starting this next semester (Jan 12th), and I have a family that needs more of my attention. I am also willing to help train the person, and can assist with the transition until the person is well adapted. I need to make this decision before I start my classes.

The only benefits of such a position would be to use it as experience. Other than that, you key objectives will be to help the group grow...not in size, but as a community.

If you feel that you are qualified, please send me a PM with your resume. I will consider all candidates the same. All candidates will be contacted for a phone interview, and this information will be kept confidential. This is not a popularity contest, and the best person for this position will be selected based on experience, qualifications, professionalism, and commitment to the group.

Thank you,

Charlie, you nut-hugger. Rofl.

We both know he is a good choice, PM nothing.

He is already an Admin on AZFBA.

I didn't say he wasn't a good choice, lol. I said that you, sir, are a nut-hugger.

I know that I have absolutely no web design experience. I can provide the resident fast red car (that isn't victory/patriot red, whateverthehell). Is there a spot for that?

Are you trying to sell your position to the highest bidder, like the Governor of Illinois. Should we start impeachment procedures? You cant do this to us.

Ok...so just to let everyone know...Jason from LPM has volunteered to help out. He has been an admin for the AZFBA for 5 years and knows his way around forum software and such. For those who are not familiar...AZFBA is he Arizona F-Body Association Arizona F-Body Association (http://www.azfba.com/).

The software we use is different and more modern, but nonetheless very similar. Please direct any issues you may have to Jason. Also keep in mind that Ruck and Steve can also answer most technical problems you may experience.

Thank you,

Rob
