I have had a template for our main website for some time now and have decided to start customizing it for our main site at Arizona Desert Goats (http://www.azdesertgoats.com/).
Our main site is not up yet, but I am testing at the following location:
http://www.azdgforums.com/maintest/
Take a look and provide some feedback or suggestions. I know...we are not a motorcycle club...this is just a template and will be changed, modified, and customized.
Thanks,
Rob

It's in flash. Do you have your security settings to disable flash.
Otherwise...I can only say it sounds like your computer sucks.

I get a Chopper site. The design on that site looks nice if it will be the same or similar.

Seems good. Couple of things:
It seemed to take awhile to load.
If it is all Flash and a lot of people post from their mobile won't that cause issues?

Shouldn't be a problem from their mobile if they just go straight to the forums, and not the main page.

I guess that's true. Sometimes I just shout things out.:gunsafety:

The main site will have a link to the forums. The forums are not going anywhere.

Works fine...not sure why you got that error. Details...then maybe I can help.

Ohh yah im pretty sure this was just covered, but to say it again, mobile friendly!!! :) Always post on here from work. I like the layout of it, when ht page was loading the percentage with the club logo was tinnnnyyyy, maybe make that a little more visible?

I am still working on this, however I have found that on my computer it works fine in Firefox, but in IE it comes up blank. I will try to find out where the error exists, but I still have tons to do...and I hate flash.

The website will be partially complete by this weekend. The plan is to have only the homepage functioning. However....I need lots of contect to add to fill the various areas. The new homepage will not be in latin (sorry)...lol. I'm not sure if I will put up the Flash version of the HTML version yet...only thing that sucks is the content is not dynamic so physical updates will have to be done on a schedule...probably monthly unless I can get someone who knows Flash and HTML to do this weekly.

just a note:
not a huge fan of the menu bar shadowing... on mouse over and on activation, the shadowing just doesnt look right, and makes it harder to read imho...
i would either shrink the shadowing and step it a few pixels away from the word, or remove the shadowing all together...
just my .02

I assume you're talking about the lines under the text in the menu bar which is like a really long shadow. Yeah...that is going away cause it is tacky and annoying. The sound is also getting muted as well cause I don't like sites with sound, and the animation noises will get reduced as well.

yeah that would be the ones i was talking about..
didnt notice the noise, as i never have speakers on unless i want them on specifically for something... but i agree, noise and websites does not go together...
