I think the GTO is a much more comfortable classy car. The way you "wear" a vette is what I miss Complete control of the car like a go cart...

The interior of the GTO is much better than on a Corvette. However, when you're driving the GTO it is definitely more sloppy and less of a drivers car. It's a great car, but the Corvette was built around the driver and that's exactly how you feel. You "fit" in the car.

well, it is a trade down in a few ways, but i loved my gto before and they quit making them so i figure i can get a vette again someday

the leather in a vette is different but the car interior has so much less room that you feel more a part of the car
