New Guy Here
Hello all,
Even tho I don't have a GTO, I was referred to this site by someone over at LS1tech. Name's Steve, I live in the Peoria/Glendale area. Just picked up my 04 CTS-V a couple weeks ago as my first venture into the GM world. Been a Ford guy as long as I can remember but I've always wanted a CTS-V and I got a smoking deal on this one. Looking forward to getting to know you guys.

Welcome to the boards, there's a few V's on here already. What's done to the car other than exhaust I see?
We're slowly taking over....

Thanks guys, only mods on the car are a B&B exhaust and K&N intake that the guy before me put on...looking to install a new shifter and long tubes in the next few months, then do H/C/I after that.

Stageup is in Gilbert with his black cammed/bottle LS6 and I'm in Mesa. I just did Pacesetter long tubes and Stageup has Kooks. Just depends how much you wanna spend, Kooks are around 900 and Pacesetters are 450ish coated. I've got a Katech shifter and love it. There's only 3 out there, B&M, Katech, and UUC. Cost wise they're in that order too, same with performance. The UUC is really expensive at 400 bucks, the Katech is around 250, and the B&M is around 200. I went Katech since I wanted it a bit quieter in the cabin with the 2 piece design, it keeps the sound deadening. My next install are some cutouts, getting a FAST too. After that it's time to save for springs and a cam. Doing a direct port nitrous setup with the FAST.

Slammin cadilac doors! Welcome.
some humor!
TRAFFIC TICKET
A police officer pulls a over Huge Cadillac for speeding.
Officer: May I see your driver's license?
Driver: I don't have one. it was suspended .
Officer: May I see the owner's card for this vehicle?
Driver: It's not my car. I stole it.
Officer: The car is stolen?
Driver: That's right. But come to think of it, I think I saw the owner's card in the glove box when I was putting my gun in there.
Officer: There's a gun in the glove box?
Driver: Yes sir. That's where I put it after I shot and killed the woman who owns this car and stuffed her in the trunk.
Officer: There's a body in the trunk !?
Driver: Yes, sir.
Hearing this, the officer immediately called his captain. The car was quickly surrounded by police, and the captain approached the driver to handle the tense situation:
Captain: Sir, can I see your license?
Driver: Sure. Here it is. It was valid.
Captain: Who's car is this?
Driver: It's mine, officer. Here's the owner's card.
Captain: Could you slowly open your glove box so I can see if there's a gun in it?
Driver: Yes, sir, but there's no gun in it. Sure enough, there was nothing in the glove box.
Captain: Would you mind opening your trunk? I was told you said there's a body in it.
Driver: No problem.
Trunk is opened; no body.
Captain: I don't understand it. The officer who stopped you said you told him you didn't have a license, stole the car, had a gun in the glove box, and that there was a dead body in the trunk.
Driver: Yeah, I'll bet the lying Son of a Bitch told you I was speeding, too…

I think the Katech is the one I was looking at getting. I was looking at the Kooks longtubes, how do you like the Pacesetters?
